Following the release of his 5th studio album, Madina To The Universe, M.anifest heads to the Bay Area this fall to celebrate in the US with a live performance at Oakland’s The New Parish. The show takes place on October 14th and features performances by Multi-Instrumentalist MMYYKK plus Bay Area afro-latino party rockers Sazon Libre.

Born in Accra, Ghana, M.anifest is an award winning artist kown for lyricism and intriguing sonic hybrids of Afican popular music and Hip Hop.

M.anifest is the grandson of the late Prof. J.H. Nketia, one of the leading ethnomusicologist and composers in Africa. His grandfather’s dedication, passion, and commitment to composing music had a profound impact on M.anifest, and is a source of inspiration in the ways M.anifest crafts his particular blend of music.

M.anifest’s vision to humanize Africans and the wider Diaspora, often brings characters and stories from the margins into focus. His music is layers: emotionally evocative, dope, and modern.
